it gets better

i have enjoyed spending some time watching these videos. there are a million of them. i think they really speak to everyone, from the president to tim gunn. it doesn't matter if you agree with, have a religious stance, strong opinions or cheer on and support those who are different than you, there is a place for everyone. differences make the world what it is.  i think about my marriage, i didn't pick my spouse because he was the same as me, his differences made me better, and equally mine for him. its not devoid of its growing pains, but completed me as a person. if we could think about other's differences with that same respect young people wouldn't feel the need to take drastic measures because they felt hopelessly different.
